MR attends Joint Opposition rally, SLFP members defying party orders

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived at the Joint Opposition rally being held at Hyde Park, Colombo a short while ago.
 
The Sri Lanka Freedom Party earlier this week stated that disciplinary action would be taken against its members who attended the joint opposition rally.
 
However several Sri Lanka Freedom Party members were seen at the event: 
Kumara Welgama, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Basil Rajapaksa, Namal Rajapaksa, Pavithra Wanniarachchi, T.B Rathnayaka, G.L.Peiris, Bandula Gunawardena, Dullas Alahapperuma, Gaminia Lokuge, Rohitha Abegunawardena, Chamal Rajapaksa.

It was told that disciplinary action would be taken against the SLFP members who would take part and now initiate such actions as published

Politicians are public servants must have a certain time limit to serve the country if not repetion of the sameness good and bad will continue as society need change and if necessary must be answerable of certain errors committed during their time as politicians instead of receiving the praises.after 30 to 50 years in politics time to retreat for younger citizen to serve the country the senior politicians must plan to go around advice the public the good ness for the country and educate the masses

The SLFP members have flouted the party directive made by the President. It would be interesting to see if the President has the guts to sack them. If he does not, he is a lame duck!!
