A 21-year-old ex-Army soldier who hacked the Facebook account of a 23-year-old girl and demanded illicit favours from her, threatening to release explicit content online, was arrested by the Police at the Piliyandala bus stand.
The Police said the ex-soldier used to communicate with her online while posing as her boyfriend after hacking into her account.
He is said to have made nude pictures with the girl’s face attached to them and had demanded illicit favours from her while threatening to release them online. Police investigations have revealed that the suspect has several similar complaints against him previously.
