Former Sri Lankan (Ceylon) cricketer Russell Hamer passed away yesterday morning. Russell Hamer the talented National player later became a good coach while his son Peter Hamer who was the former St. Joseph’s skipper represented National under 19 team.
Russell’s remains will be kept at A.F Raymond’s Borella from today (28) and the funeral will be held tomorrow (29) with the burial at 3.00 pm at the Borella Cemetery (D.R)
