Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Mahinda Siriwardena has been given a service extension for one year with effect from April 26 by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, who is also the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy.
Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena who was also the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) retired from his service on Friday (26) after completing a service period of 33 years and 25 days in the Central Bank. He joined the CBSL on April 1, 1991.
