Queen’s International Business Campus (QIB), held its scholarship awarding ceremony at BMICH for students seeking a career as medical professionals following the MBBS/MD programme in Yerevan State Medical University in Armenia.
Over one hundred students have been selected to follow the six year MBBS/MD programme from over 2000 applicants who faced an entrance examination. At QIB Campus pathway to become an internationally recognized doctor, a basic qualification of two credits and one simple pass in G.C.E. A/Level biology stream is needed.
The event was attended by special invitees from Yerevan State Medical University, students and parents.
According to the MBBS/MD programme rules and regulations in Yerevan State Medical University Armenia in Eastern Europe, students are required to complete a five year degree programme and one year internship that follows, one can work as a recognized doctor in Armenia for a monthly salary of over USD 2,500-3,000.
After the completion of the MBBS/MD graduate exam he/she can work in countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Sri Lanka. QIB Campus has a history of over 20 years and supports students to obtain university degrees overseas in addition to having its own courses awarding diplomas in many fields.
Located at Godagama, Homagama QIB Campus holds free English classes for students who are following university degree programmes. QIB Campus has so far supported nearly 3,000 students to obtain Foreign University Degrees. Students pending A/L results, are also encouraged to apply for the 2023 intake and the closing date for applications has been extended until October 30 and departure for the university studies will be November 15, 2023.
