A Sinhala Hindu New Year festival was held in Beirut, Syria with the participation of Sri Lankans abroad in Syria under the patronage of Sri Lankan Ambassador to Syria Kapila Jayaweera on Monday (15).
More than one thousand Sri Lankans who are employed in Syria participated in this event which was jointly organised by the Sri Lankan embassy and Sri Lankan organisations in Syria.
