Hulftsdorp Magistrate Sanjeewani Pavithra yesterday remanded an individual who had video recorded the Fort Magistrate’s Court premises using his mobile phone till April 1. The suspect had vedio recorded the Fort Magistrate’s Court while proceedings were going on.
The suspect Weerasami Selvam Wijayakumar who was kept under the custody of Prison officials was later handed over to the Kommpannavediya Police station. The Magistrate made this order when the suspect was produced in court following the completion of investigation into this individual and the relevant mobile phone.
Two persons along with him have been arrested by Police.However they have been released on police bail.
