“Charity Pranav Foundation” is established by a group of Sri Lankans living in England to help under privileged community. This time they donated cricket gear for cricketers who live in the remote areas in Sri Lanka and are engaged in cricket without proper facilities.

With the aim of taking them to the national and international level by carrying out the sports activities without difficulty, the project aimed to identify the cricketers who are good at cricket and provide them with the necessary cricket equipment. Also 15 cricketers who excelled in cricket in the districts of Polonnaruwa, Ampara and Trincomalee were given cricket equipment. Along with this, with the assistance of SLC, the required cricket uniforms were also awarded to the cricketers. Sri Lankan coordinators of Charity Pranav in England, Sriani Herath and Priantha Herath and Eastern Province cricket coach Nilantha Vimalaweera, Trincomalee District cricket coach Chanaka Prageeth and a group of cricketers participated in this event.
