Maradana Police detained two suspects in connection with the theft of seven aluminium doors valued at more than Rs.400,000 that had been removed for repair at the old Outpatient Treatment facility of the Colombo National Hospital (CNH). Maradana Police said that the chief administrative officer of the Colombo National Hospital had filed a complaint regarding this theft.
The two suspects arrested are residents of Badulla aged 31 and 27 working as labourers, Police said.
Police further stated that the two suspects were remanded after being presented to the Court.
