Anuradhapura District SLFP MP Duminda Dissanayake has been elected as acting General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. The appointment has been made at a politburo meeting of the party held at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute.
The meeting was held under the patronage of SLFP Acting Chairman Nimal Siripala De Silva.
Speaking to the media after being elected as the acting General Secretary, Duminda Dissanayake said that he wants to make the SLFP victorious.“I will steer the party to victory with blessings of all who actually love this party,” he said.
