Musaeus College triumphs at 30th Life Saving Championship

Musaeus College emerged as the champions at the 30th Junior National Life Saving Championship, hosted by Sri Lanka Life Saving. The event took place at the Isipathana College Swimming Pool Complex and SLLS Headquarters in Mount Lavinia.

With an impressive total of 805 points, Musaeus College overcame tough competition from Bishop’s College, who secured the runner-up position with 768 points, and Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda, who claimed third place with 590 points.

Musaeus College displayed their dominance by clinching both the Under-14 and Under-17 championship titles. In the Under-14 category, they amassed 309 points, with Bishop’s College trailing behind at 279 points and Tiger Shark Aquatic Club securing third place with 229 points.

In the Under-17 segment, Musaeus College continued their winning streak with 289 points, leaving Bishop’s College in second place with 196 points and Tiger Shark Aquatic Club in third with 191 points.

Despite their strong performance, Musaeus College settled for third place in the Under-20 age category, earning 207 points. Bishop’s College claimed the Under-20 championship title with 293 points, while Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda secured the runner-up position with 213 points.

Musaeus College’s outstanding performance across multiple age categories secures their position as the overall champions of the championship.
