One thousand nine hundred and forty two Grama Niladhari (GN) officers will be recruited into public service from tomorrow (8).
Letters of appointment to the new officials will be presented under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at Temple Trees tomorrow.
The Home Affairs Ministry released the names of 1,942 applicants who qualified for the quarterly training based on the results of the examination and interview for recruitment to the third Grade Grama Niladhari Officer post yesterday (6).
Home Affairs Minister Ashoka Priyantha said that the names of all the appointees have been published on the website www.moha.gov.lk.
The Examination Department conducted the Grama Niladhari officer recruitment examination on December 2, 2023.
According to the results, the applicants who scored the highest marks at the divisional secretariat level were thus selected for the quarterly training.
