“ITN Surya Mangalyaya-2024”, the New Year Festival organised by the Independent Television Network, was held at the Meegoda Maha Vidyalaya grounds, under the patronage of Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media Dr. Bandula Gunawardhana. ‘ITN Surya Mangalyaya-2024’ included many traditional New Year games and cultural events. Colombo District Secretary K.G. Wijesiri, ITN Chairman Sudarshana Gunawardena, government officials from the area, heads of sponsoring organizations, and a large number of local residents attended this New Year festival.
