One of the founding members of the Sampath Bank Arthur Senanayake, has resigned as Chairman of Sampath Centre, a subsidiary of the bank.
Having been a founding member of the bank he was with the Sampath Bank Group for over 35 years, holding positions as Vice Chairman and Chairman of Sampath Bank.
Sampath Bank announced the appointment of Arthur Senanayake as its new Chairman, after incumbent Edgar Gunatunge stepped down from the position on September 30, 2008 and was in office till 2011.
