“Suryamangaliya” educates students on rituals

“Suryamangaliya” organized by the primary section of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo, with the aim of educating students about the Sinhala and Tamil New Year rituals, was held yesterday, April 10, in the morning at the College grounds.

It is special that the students engaged in various rituals and presented features in this Suryamangala held under the patronage of Colombo Regional Assistant Director of Education (Primary) Shyama Perera and with the participation of Sports and Physical Education (Primary) Teacher Advisor Palitha Lakmal.

Rector, Rev. Fr. Ranjith Andradi and Vice Rector, Ruwan Deshapriya and many other guests participated in the event.
