EY GDS Sri Lanka increase local presence by 100%

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) which celebrates its second successful year in Sri Lanka is planning to increase their staff by over 100% and will take an additional floor from the World Trade Centre for this expansion.

The new floor with 250 employees will be opened on July 1, 2024 said EY GDS Sri Lanka Location and Consulting Leader, Samantha Rajapaksa (pictured) said. EY GDS Sri Lanka has quickly solidified its foothold in Asia-Pacific,working alongside EY GDS operations in India and the Philippines to create a near shore hub for EY member firms in the Area, and offer strategic services that help support EY clients around the world.

Since setting up in 2022, EY GDS Sri Lanka has experienced significant growth, building up a workforce of over 250 professionals. “With core services in business and technology consulting services and audit assurance, EY GDS Sri Lanka offers an array of career opportunities for both young talent and experienced professionals with skills that include cyber security, AI, machine learning, data analytics, qualityengineering and testing, project management, and business process

management.”

“We are very happy with the local talent and this is one reason for us to expand by recruiting both emerging talents and experienced professionals who can shape the future with us. We also have 50:50 gender ratios.”
