B’desh High Com. commemorates 104th Birth Anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

The Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka, under the patronage of High Commissioner Tareq Mohummad Ariful Islam, commemorated the 104th Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day at its premises recently.

Children presented various cultural programmes, with the High Commissioner and Senior Journalist Daya Dissanayake presenting prizes to the winners of various contests.

‘Colombo Times’ Chief Editor and ‘Arab News Colombo’ Correspondent Mohammed Rasooldeen, ‘Sunday Times’ Deputy Editor Ameen Izzadeen, Senior Media personnel, High Commission officials and distinguished invitees graced the occasion.
