Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickremanayaka said that steps will be taken to name the traditional Kandyan dance ‘Ves’ costume as a world heritage.
The Minister said this on Sunday while attending the inaugural Urumayaka Aswedduma programme on Upcountry Dances conducted by the Upcountry Dance Training and Research Centre in Matale.
