The Government of India has given its consent to supply the Government of Sri Lanka with a sector grant of United States Dollars 11 million for supplying electricity to residents of Delft, Nainathivu and Analathivu islets of the Jaffna peninsula.
Accordingly, bids have only been called from Indian contractors to implement that project as per the conditions of the memorandum of understanding entered into.
