SL Deshaya video sent to Government Analyst

Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday ordered to refer the video “Bandumkaraya 2” of SL Deshaya YouTube channel of social activist Darshana Hadungoda to the Government Analyst for further investigations in a case related to allegedly acting in a manner based on a false statement that caused insult to Additional Solicitor General Vikum De Abrew and State Counsel Niyomi Malka Kahawita. The Magistrate also ordered the Criminal Investigation Department to handover the laptop that recorded the video and its accessories to the Government Analyst. The Magistrate made this order by considering the request made by the Criminal Investigation Department by filing a motion in the Court.
