Japanese Foreign Minister visits Colombo Port

The Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs, Yoko Kamikawa visited the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) during her recent visit to Sri Lanka.

During the visit by the Japanese delegation to SLPA, discussions centered on ongoing and future developments in SLPA and the Port of Colombo (POC).

The Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs expressed her readiness to offer any necessary assistance and support for the development of the port sector in Sri Lanka.

The visit of the Japanese delegation at SLPA was also aimed at strengthening the long-standing bilateral trade relations between Japan and Sri Lanka.

Japanese support and assistance have been instrumental in the progress witnessed at the Port of Colombo.
