Thakral Pvt Ltd, the authorised distributor for DJI drones in Sri Lanka, launched its latest agricultural sprayer drones in Colombo recently.
DJI Agras T25 and Agras T50 are its latest products for the Sri Lankan market. The event offered attendees an immersive experience into DJI’s latest offerings spanning consumer electronics, enterprise solutions, agricultural technology, and delivery systems.
Drones in agriculture have become a powerful tool for monitoring crops and livestock by delivering more expansive and higher resolution imagery and enabling land imaging, surveying topography and boundaries, soil and irrigation monitoring, spraying needs and collecting soil and water samples.
Agricultural drones permit farmers to monitor crop and livestock conditions from the air, keep watch for potential problems and help optimise field management.
DJI Agras T25 and T50 drones come with a dual atomizing spraying system. DJI Agras T25 has a spray tank with a capacity of 20 litres while DJI Agras T50 comes with a 40 litre spray tank.
It is also equipped with DJI Terra, active phased array radar, binocular vision and supports multiple operations from surveying, mapping, to spraying and spreading.
Currently, there are over 140 Agras drones in operation. This is their largest operation in South Asia. Experts from DJI showcased practical applications of their products, demonstrating how these technologies can seamlessly integrate into professional and everyday scenarios.
