The Pakistan High Commission celebrated its National Day at the Sapphire Banquet Hall, BMICH, on Thursday (25).
It was held under the patronage of Pakistani High Commissioner Major General (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz.
Chief guest Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva along with Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and High Commissioner Major General (Retd) Faheem Ul Aziz cut the cake to mark the celebration.
Foreign Minister Ali Sabry PC, Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Minister Vidura Wickremanayaka, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, State Minister of Foreign Affairs Tharaka Balasuriya, Members of Parliament, diplomats, Commanders of the Sri Lanka Army, Sri Lanka Air Force and Sri Lanka Navy, Chief of Defence Staff General Shavendra Silva, Embassy officials and other invitees were also present.
