Winners Global emerged champions at the six-a-side corporate cricket tournament which was successfully held at the G. H. Buddhadasa Grounds in Battaramulla recently.
Altogether 28 teams representing leading companies in the island competed this event while tournament was organized by the Rainbow Pages Welfare Society.
The teams in the semi-finals were Winners Global, Sonasu Connect, GM Garments, and Salota International.
GM Garments and Salota International were both named co-runners-up in the Champions League Corporate Cricket Tournament.
The cricket team of Winners Global (Pvt) Ltd bagged the champions trophy with a cash prize of Rs. 200,000. The awards ceremony was graced by Lasantha Amarasinghe Chairman and MD of the Chance Sports Borella, Ananda and Wasanthi Managing Directors of AD Sports Nugegoda, Upul Manchanayake Chief Officer (Digital Services) and Asela Galappatige, COO of SLT (Services) Limited.
