Seven member Sri Lanka Para athletic team left for Morocco yesterday morning to take part in World Para Athletics Grand Prix. This is an important Paralympics qualification event and the team got financial support from Sports Ministry for this tour.
The Grand Prix is scheduled to be held from April 24 to 30 in Morocco.Two coaches Sajith Jayalal and Vimukthi Soyza also accompanied the team. The Lankan team comprised Samitha Dulan, Pradeep Somasiri, Saman Subasinghe, Anil Prasanna Jayalath, Buddika Indrapala, Janani Dananjana, Kumudu Priyanka. (D.R)
