Police Special Task Force discovered a T-56 weapon concealed in the roof of a house in Lockgate Lane, located near the Superior Court Complex, behind Sri Bodhirajarama Temple, on Wednesday evening (10).
The STF has stated that three individuals have been arrested in this connection and they are residents of the area, aged 47, 34, and 18.
According to information obtained by Police teams investigating underworld crime, following the death of ‘Keselwatte Dinuka’, a notorious underworld drug trafficker in Dubai, the gang has fragmented and is now engaged in a power struggle, resulting in violence.
