A 25-year-old make has been arrested by the Maligawatta Police while transporting a cache of heroin worth over Rs. 60 million.
Based on a tip-off received, Maligawatta police officers managed to make the arrest while the contraband was being transported to the Grandpass area.
Police have seized 1 kg and 150g of heroin and 75,000rs on the suspect at the time of the arrest.
Suspect will be produced before Maligakanda No. 2 Court today (11).
