Lankan motor racing ace Dilantha Malagamuwa won the second place at the European GT-4 Car Racing Championship held at the Paul Ricard track in France recently.
This competition was held on April 05, 06 and 07 with the participation of a large number of motor racing champions from 40 countries of the world and Dilantha Malagamuwa had participated in that competition representing not only Sri Lanka but the whole of Asia.
Malagamuwa had arrived at Katunayake Airport on April 10 and a group of Police officers including Negombo Senior Superintendent of Police Eric Perera and Malagamuwa’s friends came to Katunayake Airport to welcome him.
Dilantha Malagamuwa speaking to the media said that this year there are ten more car races including eight more international car races in Europe and he expects to do his best in the remaining races.
