The Moolagiri Sanga Conference, where the leaders of the Moolagiri Sangha community gather will be held at the Kahawilgoda Rajamaha Viharaya, Algiriya on Saturday (30) at 8 a.m.
This is being held to develop friendships and get to know each other by bringing together the Moolagiri monks who have a glorious history of more than three centuries and form a unified organisation of monks to work together for future religious activities.
Also, the purpose of this is to gratefully remember all the authors.
Piriven Education Director General Ven. Dr. Kumbalgoda Dhammaloka Thera will deliver a speech on the service of the Moolagiri Sangha community and other authors as well as the responsibility of the present-day monks.
Chief Incumbent of Mulgirigala Rajamaha Vihara Ven. Beligalle Saranapala Thera, Head of Sama Vihara at Havelock City, Colombo 6 Athapatthukande Ananda, Chief Incumbent of Algiriya Kahalwilagoda Purana Rajamaha Viharaya Ven. Paraduwa Jinarathana Thera are the conveners of this conference.
Chief Incumbent of Hebbegamuwa Muthumala Rajamaha Viharaya Ven. Koppakande Sumanatissa Thera and Ruhunu University Senior Lecturer Dr. Morakandegoda Ariyawansa Thera will attend the event.
