A special alms-giving ceremony was held at Galle Yatagala Rajamaha Viharaya, with the participation of 200 monks, to mark the passage of three months since the passing away of the late Chief Prelate of Dakshina Lanka, Most Venerable Metaramba Hemarathana Thera. The event was held under the auspices of the Chief Incumbent of Valgampaya Rajamaha Viharaya, Ven. Dimbul Kumbure Sri Sarankara Wimaladhammabhidhana Thera.
