Mathiaparanan, much loved mother of Sumathy & Rajan and Sumanthiran & Savithri, beloved grandmother of Shamanthi, Sanjayan, Shiloh, Shechem and Shalem, the precious daughter of A.V. & Lily Ponnu of Kudathanai, Point Pedro and the much loved sister of the late Devi Nallarulanantham, Alan Jeyarajah (Canada), C.P. Jeyasingam (Singapore), P. Jeya Sundaram (Germany) and Pushpashanthy Ponnu (Sri Lanka). She was also the loving sister-in-law of the late Nallarulanantham, Alice Thamu (UK), Mangalanayaki Navaratnarajah (UK) and S.S. Pooranampillai (Australia), Rathy Jeyarajah, Rubini Jeyasingam and Ranjini Jeya Sundaram. Remains will be open for viewing at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, the 29th of February and from 9 a.m. on the 1st of March, followed by a service at the Parlour at 4 p.m. on the 1st of March 2024. Burial at the General Cemetery Kanatte, Borella at 5 p.m.
