The launch of senior retired civil servant Austin Fernando’s autobiography in Sinhala titled Mama Austin (I am Austin) took place at 3.00 p.m. yesterday (11) at the Jasmine Hall, BMICH, Colombo.
Fernando is a former Defence Secretary and a Presidential Secretary.
Speeches were delivered at this book launch by former Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama, President’s Counsel Sarath Jayamanna, retired civil servant and Ministry Secretary M.D.D. Peiris and the author.
