Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana, announced to the House on Saturday (25) that in terms of the provisions of Article 79 of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, he has endorsed the certificate on the Bill titled “Galaha Bhadravathi National Bhikkhu Care Center Trust” on November 24, 2023. Accordingly, the Galaha Bhadravathi National Bhikkhu Care Center Trust Act No. 31 of 2023 will come into effect from November 24.
