Six more students who had also sustained injuries due to the school wall collapsing on them had been admitted to hospital, and one student was reported to be in critical condition, police said.

Five of the injured students have been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital, while one child has been transferred to the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital.
