In a Cabinet reshuffle, three Cabinet Ministers took their oaths at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday morning (23), in the presence of President Ranil Wickremesinghe, the President’s Media Division said in a news release.
Keheliya Rambukwella now serves as Environment Minister, Mahinda Amaraweera as Plantation Industries Minister and Dr. Ramesh Pathirana as Health Minister.
Dr. Ramesh Pathirana has been appointed Health Minister in addition to his current portfolio as the Industries Minister, while Minister Mahinda Amaraweera was appointed as Plantation Industries Minister in addition to his current post as Agriculture Minister.
Meanwhile, Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, who presently serves as the State Minister of Finance, has been designated as the State Plantation Enterprise Reform Minister, which is a non-Cabinet portfolio.
