Popular businessman Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotalawala has passed away. He was aged 85 at the time of his demise. He has passed away while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Colombo. Deshamanya Dr. Lalith Kotalawala made a valuable contribution to the Sri Lankan economy by becoming the owner of a renowned business network in Sri Lanka. Funeral arrangements of Dr. Lalith Kotelawala are to be announced later.

I totally agree with Mrs. Shahi Weeraman.Mr. Kothalawala was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he had a good heart. He wanted to settle all dues by disposing his assets and the crooks in politics did not allow him to do so. Pls. do not blame Mr. Kothalawala without knowing the depth of the issue.
