Unbeaten Devapathiraja College Rathgama, last year runner up, recorded their third win in their first round fixtures of the Under 19 Girl’s Division One Inter Schools Cricket tournament.
Also unbeaten Anula College Nugegoda recorded their third win in the fixtures. Devapathiraja College Rathgama beat Princes of Wales College Moratuwa by 7 wickets and Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda beat Anura Vidyalaya Matara by 2 wickets.
Devapathiraja College Rathgama played four matches and has won three matches against defending champion Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha, St. Anthony’s Girl’s College Katugastota and Princes of Wales College Moratuwa. Match ended with no result between Devapathiraja College Rathgama and Wadduwa Central College.
Anula College Nugegoda played three matches and won all matches against Anura Vidyalaya Matara, St. Anthony’s Girl’s College Katugastota and Wadduwa Central College. Defending champion Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha played three matches and won only two matches against Princes of Wales College Moratuwa and St. Anthony’s Girl’s College Katugastota. They lost against Devapathiraja College Rathgama.
