Negombo BCI Campus new Rector

Rev. Fr. Camillus Fernando Rector of St. Nicholas’ International College, Pallawatta has been appointed as the new Rector of the Benedict XVI Catholic Institute (BCI), Campus in Negombo.

Fr. Fernando has authored five books including Science of Education, A Thomastic Approach to Catholic Education, Office of Evangelisation in English, and two books in Sinhala. A former member of the Academic Staff of St. Peters’ College, Colombo, he has also served as the Director of the Colombo Catholic Press and held the post of Editor of Messenger, The Catholic Weekly of Sri Lanka, Ganartha Pradeepaya, the Lama Pradeepaya and simultaneously served as the Media Spokesperson of the Archdiocese of Colombo.
