Sober Sports Club cricket team, Addalaichenai beat Power Boys Sports Club Cricket Team, Pottuvil in the final to emerge champions and bagged the ‘Good Nick ChampionTrophy-2023’ of the limited over cricket tournament conducted by Good Nick Sports Club, Thirukkovil at the Thirukkovil Good Nick Play Grounds recently.
Sober Sports Club cricket team, Addalaichenai became the champion for the 11th time in the recent past. Prominent cricket teams in the area played at the tournament organized by Good Nick Sports Club Sorts Club, Thirukkovil. The final match was played between the Addalaichenai Sober Sports Club team and Pottuvil Power Boys Sports Club teams.
Addalaichenai Sober Sports Club cricket team bat first, scored 101 runs in their allocated 10 overs for losing 9 wickets. In reply Pottuvil Power Boys Sports Club Cricket Team, scored 60 runs in 10 overs for loss of 6 wickets.
Champions Addalaichenai Sober Sports Club cricket team were awarded Rs.100,000.00 cash prize and trophy and the runner up Pottuvil Power Boys Sports Club Cricket Team was awarded Rs.50,000.00 and trophy by the guests at the award ceremony.
Man of the match was S.M. Jaseel and Man of the series was R.Rasfan of the Addalaichenai Sober SC awarded prizes.
