As per a request made by Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh has decided to donate 54 types of essential medicines to Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, with the intervention of the Bangladesh Ministry of Health, medicinal drugs worth 58,307 US dollars are to be delivered next week.
Among those drugs, the Ministry of Health points out there are many essential drugs including those needed by cancer and kidney patients.
