The Embassy of Indonesia and the Indonesian community in Sri Lanka celebrated Indonesia’s 78th Independence Day.
The ambassador hoisted the national flag of Indonesia in a ceremony at the Indonesian Embassy in Colombo. The Ambassador addressed the gathering and cut the anniversary cake.
The event was attended by religious leaders, Indonesian Community, officials and families of the Embassy, local dignitaries, officials of the Sri Lankan Indonesia Friendship Association, representatives of Muslim Institutions, students of Royal College and Sanka Samudhi Foundation, journalists and friends of Indonesia were present.
