Police said the postmortem examination of the body of the 32-year-old Danish woman who fell to her death while climbing the Alagalla mountain should be done in the presence of a family member or a representative nominated by the Danish Embassy, and no such names have been named so far.
After the Embassy nominates a person for that purpose, the Police is going to get a Court order to conduct the post-mortem investigation.
The body of Karen Munk Ebbesen is currently at the Kandy National Hospital mortuary. She had been staying at a hotel in Ampitiya, Kandy and had gone to Kadugannawa on July 10. Her body was found at the foot of the Alagalla mountain on July 14.
