Samitha Dulan the bronze medalist of world para athletic championship
Samitha Dulan the National para athlete once again stole the limelight yesterday while he won the Javelin Throw F-64 bronze medal at the world Para Athletic championship which started at Olympic Stadium in Paris France. Samitha Dulan the Paralympic Bronze medalist in 2022 Tokyo Olympics finished third yesterday with a distance of 64.06m while Indian athlete Sumit with 70.83 m and Michal Burian OF Australia with 65.21m were placed first and second in this event.
Meanwhile Sri Lanka paralympic Gold medalist Dinesh Priyantha Herath will compete in this meet (Javelin Throw F-64)while Pradeep Somasiri also will compete in 1500m and we have medal hopes from these two athletes said National Paralympic Committee President Lt Colonel Deepal Herath.
