The World Water Day ceremony 2023 organised by National Water Supply and Drainage Board under the guidance of the Ministry of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development was held at the Centre of Excellence for Water and Sanitation (Cewas) Ratmalana on March 22, 2023.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of Minister of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development Jeevan Thondaman.
UNDP Sri Lanka Resident Representative Azusa Kubota delivered the Keynote address.
State Minister of Water Supply Sanath Nisantha, Secretary of Ministry of Water Supply and Estate Infrastructure Development R.M.W.S. Samaradiwakara, National Water Supply and Drainage Board Chairman Nishantha Ranatunga and National Water Supply and Drainage Board General Manager Dr. Wasantha Illangasinghe also participated.
