Athlete Himasha Eshan gets four year ban

Sri Lankan sprinter Himasha Eshan received four year ban (from 26 th October 2021 to 25th October 2025).

He was guilty for taking banned substances and according to the world anti doaping agency rules and regulations this ban imposed to Himasha Eshan can be appealed within two weeks.

The Director General of Sri Lanka Anti doping Agency, (SLADA) Dr Seewali Jayawickrama stated this ban was informed yesterday with the approval of the disciplinary committee. During this banning period Himasha will not be able to involve in any sports activities.
