Ummu Zavaya Mosque holds 119th Shamail Thirmizee

The ‘119th Annual Shamail Thirmizee’ organised by the Board of Trustees of the Ummu Zavaya Mosque, Colombo is being held from October 4 to 19 to mark the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday.

The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) Muslim Service is broadcasting the programme from 8.00 am to 8.30 am, Ummu Zavaya Mosque Religious Committee Chairman and Former Palestine Ambassador Fawzan Anver said.

He said that the programme will be conducted under the guidance of Health Authorities and the public are not permitted to participate in the programme.
