A suspect was arrested along with 17.390 grams of heroin and a hand grenade by Trincomalee Police in Mahamayapura in the Trincomalee Police Division on May 2.
The suspect is a 22-year-old resident of Mahamayapura, Trincomalee.
He was to be produced before the Trincomalee Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Trincomalee Police are investigating.
