Narrow-minded factions cannot destroy President’s mission – State Minister

The narrow-minded factions cannot destroy the sincere attempt being made by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to improve the lives of the people amid various challenges and hurdles, Canals and Common Infrastructure Development State Minister Siripala Gamlath said.

The State Minister was participating in an event held on the sidelines of presenting letters of appointment to low-income group families in the Polonnaruwa District under the National Programme to provide 100,000 jobs to members of the low-income group families.

About 256 young men and women received the appointment letters in a ceremony at the Girithale Deer Park Hotel in Polonnaruwa on October 25. Minister Siripala Gamlath also said that various different programmes have been implemented under the ‘Vision of Prosperity’ that has been launched by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to make every family happy.

North Central Province Sangha Nayake and incumbent of the Buddhist Center in Hingurakkgoda Ven. Siriketha Siri Seevali Thera and Bisobandara Vidyalaya Principal Ven. Viharagama Sirinanda Thera were present.

Former MP Jayasinghe Bandara, Elahera Pradeshiya Sabah Chairman Janaka Nalin Kumara, = Medirigiriya Pradeshiya Sabah Chairman Shanta Kumara Wickramarachchi, Hingurakkgoda Pradeshiya Sabah Opposition Leader Piyatissa Bandara, State Minister Siripala Gamlath’s Private Secretary Asitha Gamlath, several PS members, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Zonal leaders, and divisional leaders participated.
