Fort Magistrate Priyantha Liyanage last Thursday ordered the remanding of six suspects including Easter Sunday attacks mastermind Zahran Hashim’s wife Abdul Cader Fathima Hadiya until November 4. Hadiya was detained and questioned by the CID for 18 months on a detention order in connection with the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The other five suspects were Azharuddin Mohammed Ilmi, Abdul Hameed Mohamed Rifaz, Mohamad Mashnook Mohamad Rila, Mohamad Ameer and Mohamad Mubharak Mohamed Rifayal.
The Magistrate made the order after the suspects were produced before the court at the end of the detention order by the CID.
