The request to relax the bail conditions imposed on Rifkhan Bathiudeen was rejected by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne yesterday.
The case was filed against Rifkhan Bathiudeen for selling a land in Talaimannar allegedly on forged deeds.
Filing a further B-report, the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) informed the Magistrate that they are conducting investigations into the incident .
The Magistrate fixed further hearing for October 22.
